A 29 year old woman complained of being allergic to almonds.  Her throat would become itch horribly if she ate anything with almonds in it.  Dr. Phelts performed his allergy treatment on her at his office in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan.  After one week she returned and said that she ate some almonds just to see if the allergy treatment worked.  She reported that she had no symptoms after eating the almonds
