How Does It Work?
Before the treatment: The area to be treated will be wiped with alcohol to ensure that the skin surface is dry. Radiofrequency is attracted to moisture. Moisturizing products like lotion and sunblock can decrease the effectiveness of the RF. Applying alcohol dries the surface of the skin, ensuring that the radiofrequency accumulates inside of the skin, fat, and muscle.
During the treatment: The EMSculpt NEO applicator is placed on the chosen body part, such as the abdomen, buttocks, or thighs.
Fat Breakdown: The RF technology heats up fat cells. In less than 4 minutes, the temperature in fat reaches levels that cause permanent damage, marking them for removal by specialized cells called macrophages. The treatment will feel warm to very warm and comfortable.
