Mastering the Triad of Health: Structure, Chemistry, and Emotion
Primary Care: Applied Kinesiology (AK)
Applied Kinesiology is a sophisticated system of functional neurology that uses Manual Muscle Testing as a real-time feedback mechanism. By evaluating the strength of specific muscles, we identify imbalances in your body before they manifest as chronic disease or permanent injury.
The Triad of Health
We treat the root cause of your symptoms by balancing the three pillars of human health:
- Structural: Resolving nerve interference and joint dysfunction.
- Chemical: Pinpointing nutritional deficiencies and toxicities.
- Mental/Emotional: Clearing phobias and "stuck" stress responses.
Specialized AK Care for:
- Injury Recovery: We "reset" muscles that have switched off due to trauma.
- Phobia & Stress Relief: Using Emotional Stress Release (ESR) to un-link physical stress from mental triggers.
- Allergy Desensitization: A painless way to stop your nervous system from overreacting to pollen, dust, or food.
Supporting the Chemical Pillar: Nutrition Response Testing (NRT)
To support your body's healing from within, we use Nutrition Response Testing. This specialized subset of AK allows your body to tell us exactly what nutrients it needs to repair its organs.
Instead of guessing with "one-size-fits-all" vitamins, we create a Designed Clinical Nutrition program tailored specifically to your body's neurological feedback. This takes the guesswork out of your health—you only take exactly what your body asks for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is NRT safe?
Yes. It’s a gentle, non-invasive assessment suitable for most people. We’ll review your history to ensure it’s a good fit for your specific needs.
Is NRT a medical diagnosis?
No. NRT does not make medical diagnoses. It simply ascertains what substances cause your body to have a weakening response, allowing us to identify nutritional priorities.
How many visits will I need?
The answer is different for everyone and depends on the individual's level of health. Most begin with one or two visits a month, with the frequency of visits decreasing as health improves. The goal is to get you to a point where you come in for health checks annually or semiannually.
Do I need lab tests?
With Nutrition Response Testing (NRT), there’s no need to pay for costly lab work. However, if you already have recent blood test results from your primary care physician, we recommend bringing them with you. This allows us to review and address any results that may fall outside the normal range.
How can AK help with phobias?
Phobias are essentially a "neurological short circuit." By identifying the trigger through muscle testing and holding specific reflex points, we can help the brain re-process the fear so it no longer triggers a physical stress response.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Because AK involves testing various muscles in the arms and legs, we recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing or athletic wear.
